Since the mid-1950s we have been working with passion to promote our territory on a farm that has 110 hectares of land in the heart of the Val d'Orcia. Each member of our family has been able to add something to our family business and enrich the development in the agricultural part, in the transformation of our produce or in the part dedicated to hospitality on our farm.

Roberto Gori was the first to take over the company in the 80s and created the farm then, from Tommaso Gori's passion for raising animals and Roberto's weakness for good gastronomy, the Cinta Senese breeding and creation of a laboratory for the processing and transformation of our products was born. Nowadays our farm products can be shipped all over the world. Every day we select fine meats and create cured meats, sauces, soups and many other products to bring the unique flavours of a genuine, traditional and sustainable Tuscany to the tables of Italians (and not only!).

Enrica Bartolini and Benedetta Gori on the other hand follow the tourist accommodation part with lots of passion, also organizing events, banquets, ceremonies, weddings or cooking classes on the farm grounds.

Following representatives and customers around the world Alfio Gori follows the commercial sector with great attention, personally following the training of those who represent us and the promotion of products throughout Italy.

Do you want to taste our products or buy them directly in the company? Iacopo Cupelli awaits you in our farm shop and personally follows together with Elisabetta Bernardini, the e-commerce for those of who, despite living far away, still want to enjoy our high quality products.

We live and work in deep respect for our environment by choosing to produce "organic" and to raise typical animals of our territory.

We highly believe in what we do to an extent where we allow our guests to touch and see our work, to actively participate if they wish to agricultural activities and to taste all our products directly, ma ybe during a guided tour and tasting on the farm.

From the fusion of the two farms of the Gori family and the Bartolini family, Il Poggio was born, which clearly underlines the Passion for this exceptional territory.
